Setting up Right Click on Your Mouse

You might be thinking to yourself, “Why doesn’t my Mac have a right click button?”…well, it does! It’s just not setup on the default installation of Mac OS X.
Let’s set it up, shall we? First, though Mac OS X supports two plus button mice, you must make sure you have one. All new Mac’s ship with a Mighty Mouse so if you’ve just recently bought a new mac, you’ll definitely have one. The Mighty Mouse looks like it doesn’t have a right click button, but don’t be fooled by its looks, it does indeed have multiple buttons. The picture to the right is a Mighty Mouse.
- In the Menubar on the top left corner of the screen, click the Apple icon and select “System Preferences”.

- Click the “Keyboard & Mouse” icon.

- Click the “Mouse” tab near the top of the window.

- Select “Secondary Button” from the drop down list to the right of the Might Mouse image.
