Applications stack displays two icons for each application

If your like me, you’ve probably just run into this bug and need a fix. The bug is that your “Applications” stack is displaying two icons for every application. The solution is to simply drag the “Applications” folder icon off your dock and release the mouse button. This will delete the stack, but not any of your applications. To add the stack again drag your “Applications” folder from your “Finder” window.
